Why hello, my pretty little dears.

I've noticed that hardly anybody from the states is updating .. most probably due to the huge thanksgiving celebrations all underway over there, right?

I so wish we celebrated it in a big way over here. Then again, my only experience of thanksgiving is through american movies, so I guess that's not really something to go on.

I mean, not everything else in life is true to this, is it? Guy doesn't always meet girl. Girl doesn't always meet guy. Guys and girls don't always have to overcome some obstacle to prove their love to one another, and then live happily ever after as they play the corny love song and the fade out.

No siree. It doesn't always work out like this. As a matter of fact, I'd say it would be safe to say that there are more failed romances out there than there are successful ones, but that doesn't mean to say that everybody won't have a chance. It's just a game of pot luck.

So anyway, speaking of pot luck happenings .. the lunch date yesterday went well :) I'm seeing him again tomorrow night for dinner (yay me :)) It was amazing the way we just clicked. We talked about movies and music and all the usual stuff. But it was genuinely fun. It never seemed like idle chat .. which is quite rare when you're really sitting down and talking to somebody for the first time, because usually you always hit that lull after you've gotten past the mere pleasantries. But yes, all is good. Just thought you would all want to know.

I can hear Cocktail playing in the background, and it just reminds me about how cool it would be to be a bartender.

That was my random digression for the day.
